GoCrypto 2.0: Tokenomics open alpha tutorial

The NFT and Staking features are now available in the GoCrypto 2.0 open alpha version. The crypto community is welcomed to test the new page and share their feedback with us through the Google form or the GoCrypto 2.0 Public Testing Group in Telegram.

For more information about how the GoCrypto 2.0 decentralized payment protocol functions, please read our blog Launching GoCrypto 2.0 or the tutorial blog about the Payments section, titled How to navigate the open alpha version of GoCrypto 2.0. The latter also contains all instructions on how to access BSC Testnet, BNB test coins and test GoC tokens.

The following tutorial will help you navigate through the Tokenomics section with an overview of

your NFTs, balance, and staking positions. Please note that the entire GoCrypto 2.0 dApp is still in its open alpha version and can only be used for testing purposes.

Now let’s dive into tokenomics.

Minting a new NFT

  1. On the Tokenomics home page, choose the “Mint new NFT”.
  1. Minting a new NFT requires a user to lock 50 GoC. Click “Continue” and “Approve”.

3. MetaMask prompts you to confirm access to your funds and then confirm the transaction.

4. You have successfully minted an NFT. Click “View NFT” to see its details.

Staking GoC

  1. Once you have minted an NFT, you can stake your GoC token. Select “Stake GoC” from the home screen or navigate to the Staking tab on the top of the home screen.
  1. Click on the NFT to which you want to link to your staking position and click the button “Select NFT”.
  1. Enter the amount of GoC token you want to stake and confirm the amount.
  1. Choose among four staking pools depending on the locking period and APY you are comfortable with. Once you choose the desired pool, click “Stake GoC”.
  1. Confirm the transaction in MetaMask and click “Finish”.

 NFT overview

Choose a desired NFT on your home screen for an overview of your staking activities.

  • The left window pane offers basic NFT details including the options to claim your GoC, view your referrals and copy your referral link.
  • The right window pane offers an overview of all open staking positions. If you click on the arrow next to the individual staking position, you will be able to see detailed information with options to merge positions or unstake your assets.

Please note that you can only merge positions inside the same staking pool. For demonstration purposes, the open alpha version only supports the zero locking period staking pool.

Referrals

The Refer to earn program is not available yet. However, you can choose the “View” option under the NFT details and see how the referral screen will look like in the live GoCrypto 2.0 version.

We hope you enjoyed the GoCrypto 2.0 Tokenomics experience. The GoCrypto team is excited about the possibilities that the new tokenomics feature will bring to the community. Your feedback is much appreciated and we will do our best to keep you updated on all news and developments.
